Lady Tigers beat Lady Lions in three sets

• Langford was out played in three straight sets in Monday night's volleyball match up with Groton. The Lady Tigers won 25-17, 25-17, and 25-10.
• "We played well tonight," Head Coach Aaron Helvig said. "We're starting to come together as a team and finding out what works. We're getting better with every match."
• Groton set the stage by making good serves and hitting the open spots on the court. Groton was 62 out of 72 serves with 22 aces (Hawkins 20 out of 22 with 10 aces, Sippel 13 out of 13 with 4 aces and Erica Schuster 9 out of 10 with 2 aces). Langford served 36 out of 43 for two aces (Nikki Amundson 8 for 8 with 1 ace, Amber Ogren 7 for 7 with no aces).
• The Lady Tigers were also strong on the attack, with 21 kills for the night. Groton led the attacks with 57 out of 69 (Kylie Hawkins 22 out of 23 for 9 kills, Camille Sippel 15 out of 16 for 5 kills). Langford was
