• Defensive leaders were Jackson Doeden with eight tackles and two sacks, Spencer Knecht with six tackles and two interceptions, Kasey Kurtz had five tackles, Wyatt Lone had one sack, Dalton Locke had a sack and a fumble recovery and Mason Madsen had one interception.
• Leading defensive leaders for the Braves were Caleb Wenz with 10 tackles followed by Nathan Jones with eight and Jordan Guy with seven.
• "It was a great team effort by our kids," Wanner said. "I'm happy for them and it was a great confidence builder."
• The Tigers are now 2-4 on the season and will host Mobridge-Pollock on Friday at 7:30 p.m. "Mobridge has a lot of seniors and they quick and physical," Wanner said. "We just need to cut back on the mistakes and be ready to play. Just to show you how close our games have been, we're just four points away from being 4-1. This young group of kids play hard."
