took over on the Groton 19 yard line.
• In 48 seconds, two plays and one first down later, Dallas Goedert would pull down a pass in heavy traffic to score for the Braves. Goedert would run in the PAT and the Braves took a 14-6 lead with 4:48 left in the half.
• The Tigers would answer on a drive that took less than three minutes. Starting on their own 22 yard line, the Tigers would quickly move the ball. Mason Madsen would make a catch for a first down, Kasey Kurtz would have a run good for a first down, and Toby Carda would have a 46-yard pass play to get a first down and the ball down to the Brave five yard line. On the next play, Kurtz would run right up the middle to score. The PAT pass was broken up and the Braves held a 14-12 lead with 1:58 left in the half.
• Madsen would intercept the ball to stop the Britton drive and Groton had the ball with 1:37 left in the half. Spencer Knecht would make a big catch and get the ball down to the Britton eight yard line. Groton was penalized and the ball was pushed
