Groton 8th graders beat Braves

• Groton 8th graders totally dominated the Britton/Hecla Braves in Thursday's Jr. High football game. The Tigers used both passing and rushing yards to win the game, 38-0.
• The Tigers kicked off, giving the Braves first possession of the ball. On the second down, Britton/Hecla fired off a long pass that was picked off by Groton's Trevor Pray on his own 20 yard line. Pray ran the 80 yards down the sidelines for the first Tiger touchdown. On the conversion, quarterback Kelby Hawkins passed to Patrick
