Netters drop three to Cyclones

• Clark-Willow Lake hosted Groton Area Thursday night and the Cyclones defeated the Tigers in three sets, 25-12, 25-20 and 25-16.
• In serving, Groton was 42 of 50 with nine ace serves. Courtney Kurtz was nine of 12 with two aces and Erica Schuster was eight of eight with two aces.
• In sets, Groton was 67 of 68 with 12 assists. Kurtz was 60 o f 61 with 10 assists.
• Groton was 43 of 64 in spikes with 19 kills. Camille Sippel was 11 of 15 with nine kills and Kylie Hawkins was 18 of 23 with three kills.
• Groton had one solo and two assisted blocks with Schuster having one each.
• Groton had 24 digs with Savanna Larson having eight and Camille Sippel five.
