Netters beat Tiospa Zina in three sets

• Groton won in three straight games against Tiospa Zina on Tuesday. The final game scores were: 25-23, 25-15, and 25-15.
• There was some great volleying during the game, with some excellent saves made by the Tigers. Just when you thought the ball was out of play, the girls would come up a move to keep it in play. Overall the Tigers had 38 digs for the night, (Savanna Larson 13, Winburn 8) The Wambdi also had some great saves; they had 24 digs (Demi DuMarce 7 and Jacque Jackson 5).
• "The girls did a good job tonight," Head Coach Aaron Helvig said. "A lot of balls went to unexpected places; this forced us to stay on our toes."
• The Tigers ran into a little trouble with their serves, but still pulled out 18 aces. The team was 60 for 72 on their serves, (Rylee Winburn 15 out of 15, 5 aces; Schuster 8
