the third quarter, but were unsuccessful as that set Groton up with good field position at the Redfield-Doland 26 yard line. Groton Area would secure two very close first downs. One was by the length of the football and as the football cross the line by just one-half of an inch. Both times the officials had to do a measurement.
• The Tigers would score with eight plays, three first downs, 26 yards in a time of 3:29 as Kasey Kurtz plunged into the endzone from one yard out with 3:03 left in the third quarter. Pyatt kicked the PAT and it was 14-0.
• Groton's defense made things happen again in the fourth quarter when Spencer Knecht intercepted the ball and returned it 36 yards down to the Pheasant 25. Forty seconds later and two plays, Kurtz would score on a 29 yard run. Pyatt kicked the PAT and it was 21-0.
• The game featured more of a defensive game as the total offense for both teams

put together did not reach 300 yards. Groton had 154 yards total offense and Redfield-Doland had 137 yards, all in rushing.
