A cold, Canadian high pressure system will anchor itself over the region today into Sunday morning. With clear skies and light winds overnight, temperatures will fall quickly and are expected to bottom out in the 20s to around 30 degrees. Most of the forecast area will see freezing temperatures with several locations experiencing a hard freeze.
