Mobridge-Pollock Netters Edge Past Groton

• Mobridge-Pollock hosted Groton Area Tuesday night in volleyball action with the home town Tigers winning the match in three games, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-22.
• Mobridge-Pollock is now 8-1 on the season while Groton is 1-4.
• Groton was 51 of 55 in serving with four ace serves. Halle Dohman was 11 of 14 with one ace, Camille Sippel was six of six with two aces and Erica Schuster was eight of eight with one ace service.
• In sets, Groton was 94 of 95 with 19 assists. Courtney Kurtz was 31 of  32 with nine assists and Rylee Winburn was 42 o f 42 with eight assists.
• Groton was 42 of 64 in hits with 27 kills. Camille Sippel was 14 of 20 with nine kills, Erica Schuster was 11 of 16 with seven kills and Kylie Hawkins was seven of 12 with five kills.
• Schuster had three of the team's five solo blocks.
• Groton had 54 digs with Savanna Larson having 19 and Abby Gibbs eight.
• Groton won the junior varsity match by game scores of 23-25, 25-21 and 15-12. Mobridge-Pollock won the C match by game scores of 28-26, 19-25 and 15-13.
