Daugaard requests flags at half-staff for Larson
• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Gov. Dennis Daugaard has asked that all flags be flown at half-staff in South Dakota on Friday in honor of former Secretary of State Alma Larson of Gregory. • Larson died Sunday. She was 80. • Larson served as South Dakota's 22nd secretary of state from 1965-1973. • Daugaard says he's asking all flags to be at half-staff from 8 a.m. to sunset on Friday.
