• Tyler Shultz led Sisseton with six tackles while Brayden Tasa and Brandon Wieg each had five.
• "We're trying to get better each game," Wanner said. "We lost by one last week and by three this week. We're not getting blown out. We just need to find some way to make the big plays."
• Groton is now 0-2 on the season and will travel to Webster on Friday for a 7 p.m. game. Sisseton is now 1-0 and will host Madison.
• "Webster has the most seniors of any team in the conference," Wanner said. "They have 14 or 15 seniors. We'll have come to practice on Monday and get ready for the Bearcats."
