Lady Tigers was also lukewarm.
• Groton won the first game, 25-12; but lost the next three games, 23-25; 7-25; and 13-25.
• "We played one and three-fourth games out the four games tonight," Head Coach Aaron Helvig said. "We need to play better, have more consistency in our games."
• While the Lady Tigers were off their game in attacks and assists, they did improve on their serving percentage. Amanda Worlie was eight for eight on her serves and Halle Dohman was 18 for 20.
• "We played well," Helvig said. "We just need to work on closing the back door, we keep allowing the teams to sneak back into the game, instead of holding on to the lead and winning the game."
