• Kasey Waage scored the first point of the game midway into the first half. Mikki Kavanaugh scored the second Groton goal in the second half of the game to put the Lady Tigers up by two points. • Goalkeeper Marlee Jones was unable to make the save against Mitchell at midpoint of the second half and the Kernels were able to cut the Groton led in half. • Neither team was able to score the last quarter of the game, Groton held on the lead to win, 2-1.
