Boys and girls soccer win at home

• Tiger soccer played their first home game of the season on Thursday against Mitchell, winning the home game, 5-0.
• Groton showed compete dominance of the field and control of the ball, applying heavy pressure to the Mitchell defense throughout the game.
• Sheady Htoo proved his ball handling skills with two assists, the first to Toby Carda and the second to Rayce Harder, this gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead in the first half.
• The Tigers continued their power on the field in the second half. Ehkhu Poe scored on a cross from Pyatt and then Carda stole the ball and scored an unassisted goal to put Groton up by four points. The final goal of the game was scored when Nikolai Pyatt scored on a free kick pass from Jarrett Adler. Chance Strom was Groton's goal keeper.
