Groton edges Ipswich in fifth game

• Groton's volleyball team took the long road to victory in their season opener against Ipswich on Tuesday. Groton won the match, 3-2.

• The Tigers had a tough time with serving and got a little complacent at times, allowing Ipswich to come from behind and steal the game a few times.
• "We had some rough spots," Head Coach Aaron Helvig said. "But we showed some character by overcoming those spots."
