Cavaliers started at their own 17 yard line. The Cavaliers went 83 yards in nine plays, which included pass plays of 26 and 34 yards, had three first downs in 4:03 as the drive ended with a Dalton Cox scoring on a one yard run. Colton Cox kicked the PAT and the game was tied at seven.
• Groton had another scoring opportunity early in the fourth quarter. Groton took nearly four minutes off the clock and marched some 70 yards, but when Groton got down to the eight yard line, a sack of 17 yards put the ball out to the 25 yard line. Groton was going to go for the field goal kicked, but after a time-out, decided to go for it and the pass was incomplete.
• Groton created another scoring opportunity when Reilly Ell intercepted the ball and Groton took over on the 11 yard line. This time, Groton would not be denied the touchdown as Dalton Locke scored on a three yard run with 1:49 left. The extra kick was blocked and it was 13-7.
• Now Roncalli was ready to make its final drive. On fourth and 13, the Cavaliers went for the first down and got it by the length of the football. Two more passes got the Cavaliers closer to the endzone. Roncalli used its last timeout with seven seconds left and it was third and two from the four yard line. On the final play of the game, Matt Swallow caught an uncontested pass in the endzone with no time left on the clock to tie
