• Two touchdowns were scored in the final two minutes with Roncalli scoring with no time left on the clock to edge Groton, 14-13.
• The game was a defensive struggle with Groton making more things happen than Roncalli. Roncalli had two interceptions, two fumbles and the quarterback was sacked three times. Groton did not have any interceptions, had only one fumble  and Parker Rossow was sacked twice.
• Kasey Kurtz seemed to be all over the place, having 19 carries for 65 yards, seven tackles, had two fumble recoveries and two sacks.  Reily Ell had one interception and caught four passes for 50 yards.
