Coin is new computer science teacher

• From a Bearcat to a Tiger, the new Computer Science teacher, April Coyne, is getting ready for her first year teaching in Groton. April is Groton's only new teacher this year. She will be teaching grades 6 through 12

Computers in place of Aaron Helvig who is now the new Technology Coordinator. "In the past I have worked in Webster for two years, Henry for one year, and before that I was in grad school," says April.
• "I came to Groton to teach because of the high academic standards and student success," says April. She said that she is very excited to teach at Groton but is a little antsy also. "Coming from Webster, it is a big adjustment from my hometown teaching to Groton."
• April will not be doing any coaching or advising for any extracurricular activities this year but if needed in the future she may.
• She is excited for her new teaching job in Groton and Groton is glad to have her.
