• In order to become part of one of the fire tax districts, the township board would need to present signed petitions to the fire district for approval. It would then move to the county commissioners to give final approval.
• The Bath Township, like all communities in South Dakota, has to provide fire protection to its citizens.

School holds open house and cook-out

Steve Smith and Gordon Nelson were among those who did the grilling.

Superintendent Laura Schuster served hot dogs and brats and Chuck Padfield did the pork-n-beans and fruit at the school open house held yesterday.

Dorene Nelson assisted in pouring the lemonade.
