2012 South Dakota State Horse Judging Contest

• Brown County 4-H Horse members did an outstanding job at the State Horse Judging Contest in Huron. Joellen Gonsoir was named the senior Individual Overall Halter Champion and the senior Individual Reasons Champion. Adrianne Schaunman was the Reserve Champion Individual Overall for the junior division.
• The junior and the beginner teams each won their divisions. Members of the junior team were: Adrianne Schaunman (4th individual), Tessa Kimbler (7th individual), Mark Leonhardt (25th individual) and Kaitlyn Ringgenberg (5th individual). Members of the beginner team were: Cassandra Townsend (1st individual), Danielle Podoll (10th individual), Dylan Krueger (12th individual) and Dylan Schaunman (31st individual). Brown County's senior team finished in third place. Members of the senior team were: Joellen Gonsoir (1st individual), Tyra Leonhardt (9th individual), McCamey Kimbler (25th individual) and Joe Melhaff (26th individual).
