Work is progressing very rapidly on First Street between Fourth Avenue and Ninth Avenue, and along Ninth Avenue from First Street to Broadway. Lien Transportation will complete putting down the first layer this morning and then will proceed to put the second layer down. It is planned to have the street open in time for the school open house on Monday.

Jason Eccles and Bryant Edwards of AP & Sons,  Inc., raise a water valve at the intersection of First Street and Seventh Avenue.

The east elementary school parking lot was completed yesterday.
