The Groton electric saved the day on Thursday as one bank of lights did not come on at Locke-Karst Field. Without the lights, the night regional games would have had to be either moved or postponed. A breaker had burned up. Locke Electric had the necessary breaker to be replaced and Jamie Harrington of the city electric department was in the bucket changing it out. (Photo #9701 by Char Telkamp)
