• Nineteen-year-old Boyce Way also told a judge he is in counseling, as he appeared in court Monday and pleaded guilty to making a terroristic threat at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
• Under terms of the plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend local jail time and probation, along with a psychological evaluation. The decision on punishment rests with the judge, who could impose up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
• Authorities say Way left a letter at the student union on April 17 containing the threats, and that he signed it BTK, the infamous signature of a Kansas serial killer.

SD authorities searching for missing inmate

• YANKTON, S.D. (AP) -- Authorities in South Dakota are searching for a state prison inmate who left his work release job in Yankton without permission.
• Corrections officials say 45-year-old Myron Rainbow Sr. went missing Monday night. He was serving a five-year sentence for a fourth-offense drunken driving conviction in Charles Mix County in 2009.

No big problems during Hells Angels event in SD

• SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) -- Authorities say a Hells Angels motorcycle club gathering in Spearfish resulted in no major problems, although they issued a lot of traffic citations and tickets during the five-day event.
• The club's annual USA Run, which brought about 400 bikers to the western South Dakota city, ended Sunday. Law officers stepped up their presence during the Black Hills event and there were about 90 more calls for service than last year at the same time but no fights or other major incidents, Spearfish Police Lt. Curt Jacobs said. Officers issued 58 traffic warnings and 41 citations, and made five drunken driving arrests.
• The law enforcement presence during the Hells Angels gathering included officers from the city, Lawrence County, the state Highway Patrol and the state Department of Criminal Investigation.
• "I would give them credit for the preparation that made this an uneventful event," Jacobs said. "We planned and prepared for the worst, and we got the best."
• The Hells Angels have not responded to Associated Press emails seeking comment about the event.
