Teeners split with Northville

• Groton's Teeners splits a pair of games with Northville last night, winning the first game, 13-6, and losing the second, 14-13.
• In the first game, Spencer Knecht had two doubles, Logan Lane and Drew Planteen each had a double and a single, Mason Madsen had a triple and a single, Alec Albrecht had a home run, Parker Rossow a double, Alec Voss had two hits and Kasey Kurtz and Wyatt Larson each had a single.
• Voss was the winning pitcher, throwing 94 pitches for three strike-outs, five hits and four walks.
• Northville scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, all with two outs, to edge past Groton in the night cap.
• Drew Planteen had two triples, Rossow a double, Madsen had three hits, Larson two hits and Doeden, Oleson, Lane and Harder each had hone hit.
• Luke Sternhagen pitched for three innings, throwing 77 pitches for five runs, three hits, three strike-outs and six walks. Albrecht pitched for one-third inning, throwing 30 pitches for four runs and five walks. Larson pitched for one and one-third inning, throwing 20 pitches for four runs and one hit.
