Teeners beat Warner

• The Groton Teeners hosted Warner last night and posted a pair of wins.
• Groton won the first game, 7-5. Groton scored two runs in the sixth inning to take the lead. Parker Rossow was the winning pitcher, throwing 120 pitches in six and two-thirds innings for eight strike-outs, seven walks, four hits and five runs. Mason Madsen pitched for one-third inning.
• Drew Planteen had a triple and a single, Alec Voss had a double and a single and Spencer Knecht, Mason Madsen and Wyatt Larson each had a single.
• Kasey Kurtz was the catcher.
• Groton won the second game, 7-3, scoring six runs in the first inning.
• Mason Madsen was the winning pitcher throwing 96 pitches for five strike-outs, three runs, one hit and six walks. Kurtz was the catcher.
• Knecht had a double and a single, Planteen had a game lead-off  home run, and Rossow, Kurtz and Nick Dalchow each had a single.
