working, I think of how much fun I could have if I was taking the day off.
• I hope to live long enough to be able to bring these two opposites together in some magnificent activity. I have not got there yet. I am aspiring, to be sure.
• David was right. "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalms 118:24 KJV).
• The only thing I need to do today is to rejoice in the goodness of the Lord.

Aberdeen man involved in motorcycle accident

• Edward Rieger, 57, Aberdeen was involved in the motorcycle accident that happened in Groton Thursday evening. He was traveling east on US Highway 12 near First Street. Meanwhile Carolee Mack, 62, Watertown, was driving an SUV and slowed down to make a turn into Duane's Sinclair. Rieger did not realize that Mack had slowed down and he swerved to try to avoid a collision, but b rushed against the SUV back bumper and knocked Rieger down. That according to Tom Pioske of the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
• Rieger is in fair condition at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.
