Brown County 4-H Fashion Revue
• The 2012 Brown County 4H Fashion Revue was held Wednesday July 18th. Primrose Retirement Community graciously offered their facility for the event. Kendyl Hanson, the 2011 Brown County 4H Queen, narrated while twelve participants modeled their constructed and selected garments.
• In the early afternoon, Lois Davis of Bath and Pat Dennert of Frederick judged the models. The models were judged on the following criteria: the fit, style, and accessories of the garment on the individual; the individual's modeling ability; the construction of the garment; and the garments cost and care.
• Each model was given a ribbon placing. Senior and 13- year-old Junior purple ribbon winners will represent Brown County at the South Dakota State Fair. There is not a state fair competition for 4-H members in the Beginner age division or for 11 (Continued on page 9)
