with decorating and made several unique outfits for costume and holiday parties. Her chocolate peanut butter ball candy at Christmas was always a family favorite.
• Doris was a 50+ year member of the Groton American Legion Auxiliary, and belonged to St. John Lutheran's Church, Ladies Aid and the Missionary Circle. She enjoyed her memberships in Rip ?N Ravel Extension Club, the Mr. & Mrs. Dance Club, and various card clubs.
• Doris is survived by three daughters, Berdette (Bruce) Zastrow of Pickerel Lake, Carol Eisenbeisz of Aberdeen and Barbara Morrissey of Aberdeen; brother, Allan D. ?Don? (Marilyn) Schornack of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Roderick Zastrow, Andrea Halbkat, Troy (Angela) Eisenbeisz, Todd (Shala) Eisenbeisz, Ryan (Amy) Eisenbeisz, Anthony (Heidi) Morrissey, and Serah Morrissey; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
• She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers and sisters-in-law Harold & Agnes Schornack and Howard & Harriet Schornack; and son-in-law Kenton Eisenbeisz.
• Memorials preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church of Groton, Bethesda Nursing Home of Aberdeen, or Groton American Legion Auxiliary.

Legion beats Big Stone

• Groton hosted Big Stone City last night and posted a 10-4 win in a nine-inning game.
• Groton scored 10 runs on 11 hits and had four errors. Kaleb Kjellsen had a single, a double and a triple, Weston Hoglund and Zach Herron each had two hits and Brandon Stanley, Eric May, Dalton Locke and Kasey Kurtz each had a hit.
• Big Stone City scored four runs on eight hits and had two errors.
• Mason Madsen was the winning pitcher, throwing 103 pitches for eight hits, seven walks, eight strike-outs and two hit by pitch.
• Groton is now 26-10 on the season.
