• New storm sewer pipe and a new manhole was installed at the intersection of First Street and Fourth Avenue on Saturday. Top middle photo features Pete Eccles and Bryant Edwards mixing concrete and pouring into the track hoe bucket. The right photo features the concrete being poured into the man hole and then Eccles (bottom middle) does his work and smoothing it out.
• According to Tony Connors of AP & Sons, Inc., blue topping will be done this week. This is where Clark Engineering workers pound stakes in the road so the road grader uses them for proper grading. Asphalt is scheduled to started next Monday.
