Jason Eccles dumps some small rock over the drain tile as he is guided by Gage Connors.

Anthony Connors runs the blade as he levels off the gravel on First Street. Anthony said that he is pleased with the progress of the project. "I'd like us to get two blocks a week done," he said. He said once they get past the elementary school, the progress should go quickly. He credits the nice weather and the dry conditions for making the work easier and faster. The gravel, being hauled in by Hanlon Construction, has been moist enough so it is packing well, according to Connors.

AP & Sons, Inc., got down to Seventh Avenue and First Street before they turned their attention to some work along the elementary school. He said that the concrete crew will be working on the curb and gutter and other areas on Monday.

Anthony Connors runs the blade while his son, Gage, runs the packer.
