Agencies to test air crash response in Sioux Falls

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Representatives from various government and civilian agencies are practicing their response to a simulated civilian aircraft crash at Sioux Falls Regional Airport at an unspecified time Thursday morning.
• Firefighters assigned to the South Dakota Air National Guard will make the initial response, which will also require activation of the Incident Command System.
• The system allows the airport authority to access critical resources of other military, federal, state, county and city agencies. Local ambulance departments and hospitals will also assist.
