Storms developed over the Groton area Sunday afternoon. The worst of it was east of Groton as the storms developed just west and north of the city. These clouds were located southeast of Groton in the Watertown area. Groton received some quarter-size hail and .05 of rain. The worst of the weather skirted to the north.
