and just as I dropped my hand onto her shoulder, a huge spider appeared on the screen.
• The young lady/Marilyn screamed at the top of her lungs.  Not only did she scream but she used an expletive.  The entire audience in the theater started laughing.  I'm sure some turned around.  Some must have stood up and pointed.  I can't say for sure because I was cowering under my seat.  I didn't see the rest of the movie.
• It was a scarring experience for me.  The girl/Marilyn was in a steady relationship one week later.  Not with me obviously.  I love movies, I love popcorn but I do keep my hands to myself.  Lesson learned.
