South Dakota city of Yankton has record-cold temp

• YANKTON, S.D. (AP) -- It's been an up-and-down spring when it comes to temperatures in the southeast South Dakota city of Yankton.
• The National Weather Service says the city on Tuesday tied its record-low temperature for the date, at 45 degrees. That was 11 degrees below normal and tied the record low set in 1958.

• More than two months ago, on April 1, Yankton had a record-high temperature of 91 degrees.
