run about $10,000. The board will look into other options to see if a better solution can be found.
• Schuster also reported that about six of the new trees planted in front of the new addition are showing signs of damage. Jeremy Weber, of Weber Landscaping, will check into the cost of replacing the trees. The damage was more then likely caused by the unusual weather the last couple of years.
• The school districts' school buses were inspected on Monday and "all but two of them passed with flying colors," according to Schuster. The two buses that failed had problems with their emergency brakes.
• "The one bus just came back from the shop," Schuster said. "They will make the situation right. The other bus will have to have parts ordered and repaired."
• The fire alarms in the school went off early Sunday morning. There was no fire, but the fire department was unable to reset the alarms. It is believed that a leak may be causing the wires to get wet and set off the alarm. The alarms have gone off in the past following rain storms. The school will track any further false alarms and the weather in the future to see if a pattern forms.
• Changes to the 2012-2013 student handbooks, for both elementary and high school, were looked over. First readings were also given to several policy changes. High School Principal Joe
