Wheeting walks lambs to prepare for shows

• Agriculture plays a large role in the lives of many Groton residents, and for some kids, that means the summer is spent caring and training animals. For Carly Wheeting the summer is for training and showing her animals, even if it means walking her lambs down the streets of Groton.
• Wheeting is the daughter of John and Chris Wheeting and lives on the east side of Groton, just east of the swimming pool. • "As an incoming Freshman," Wheeting said. "I'll be able to show in some of the FFA shows now."

• "We were planning to go to the Watertown Dakota Open Youth Prospect Show
