Amy Williams named USD's women's basketball coach

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- South Dakota native Amy Williams will be the next University of South Dakota women's basketball head coach, the school's athletic director announced Monday.

• Williams has spent the previous five seasons leading Rogers State University in Oklahoma and will be the seventh Coyote women's basketball coach in school history. She replaces Ryun Williams, who left May 21 to take a head coaching job at Colorado State.
