• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- South Dakota is changing its capital to Volga on June 13.
• Gov. Dennis Daugaard recently announced that Volga has been chosen to be South Dakota's Capital for a Day.
• Daugaard will tour Volga and have a coffee outreach hour with residents. The day concludes with a 2 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony for Pioneer Hi-Bred's expanded research center.

Pit bull strike: SD man injured when 2 dogs attack

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- Authorities say a Sioux Falls man was transported to a hospital with numerous injuries Sunday morning after he was mauled by two pit bulls.
• Police say the dogs bit the victim several times. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
