Light showers and sprinkles associated with a broad low over the Great Lakes will linger over the east until sunset. Skies will clear this evening allowing temperatures to plummet under entering surface high pressure. As winds diminish overnight and temperatures fall into the 30s some patchy frost will be possible in the east. An upper level disturbance will begin to affect the western counties by early morning with increased cloud cover and light rain. As clouds overspread the region frost will become less probable.
