SD National Guard unit getting new road graders

• STURGIS, S.D. (AP) -- The South Dakota National Guard says an engineering company based in the northern Black Hills is the first in the nation to get new road graders.
• The four graders are going to the 842nd Engineer Company of Spearfish, Belle Fourche (bell-FOOSH') and Sturgis. Members of the unit currently are serving in Afghanistan.
• The Guard says the new graders are part of a nationwide effort to improve the equipment that Guard soldiers use when they respond to natural disasters at home

or deploy overseas.
