The Merry Music Makers recently had their spring Piano recital in the CM&A Church. the following students starting with the back are: left to right Teacher Alice Olson, Lisa Taylor, Shailei Sanderson, Alex kern and Seth Duncan. In the front row are: Emmalei Sanderson, Alyssa Olson, and Gabriel Taylor. Lisa Taylor received her 2nd gold cup and Alyssa Olson her 1st gold cup. Seth Duncan received his Senior Piano Trophy for "outstanding Pianist 2000-2012. He also received an award for "outstanding Composer" of the piece, "You Won't Relent." Alex Kern was recognized for transposing "The Cowboy's Song.' Superior ratings were given to Seth Duncan, Alyssa Olson, Shailei and Emmalei Sanderson. Lisa Taylor received an Excellent Plus and Gabriel Taylor an Excellent. Nursing Home awarded to Lisa and Gabe Taylor. Church awards to Seth Duncan, Lisa Taylor, Shailei and Emmalei Sanderson and Alssa Olson. Lunch was served following the Recital by Alice Olson with Tom and Mary Olson assisting. We closed by singing "Count Your Blessings" accompanied by Seth Duncan. All students did a great job!
