Justin and Jay Peterson participated in the 2012 Fargo Marathon events Saturday, May 19th.  Jay ran the 10K in a time of 42:40 and was 28th overall out of 3,222 runners.  He placed 2nd in his division.  Justin ran the Half Marathon (13.1 miles) this year in 1:46:23 and was 714th out of 5,738 runners.  This is the 4th year the father and son have participated in the event.  Jean has joined them to walk the 5K for the past three years.  One of the highlights each year is to enter the Fargo Dome for the finish to an enthusiastic crowd and to receive the race medal.  Every year, each medal has featured the Hebrews 12:1 Bible quote, "Let us run with perseverance the race that is marked out for us."
