Minnehaha prosecutor honored as SD's best

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- The South Dakota State's Attorneys Association has named Jim Iosty its prosecutor of the year.
• Iosty has served as a deputy state's attorney in Minnehaha County for more than 25 years and has prosecuted some of the office's most heinous and complex cases. He is known for his superb trial preparation and for tireless work to successfully seek justice in his cases.
• Attorney General Marty Jackley says Iosty defines what it is to be a tireless public servant in the state.
• The award, established in 2002, was presented at the annual meeting of the as

sociation held recently in Deadwood.
• A plaque recognizing Iosty along with past and future recipients of the award is displayed in the office of the attorney general in Pierre.
