offices would have forced residents to drive many miles to reach the closest post office.
• Rural Americans need the same opportunity to access mail service that other Americans have, even if the hours of operation are limited in many postal facilities.
• The U.S. Postal Service still needs to address its revenue problem, but forcing rural Americans to bear the brunt of the cost of its budget problems was the wrong approach.

• Everyone matters in underage drinking
• Underage drinking in South Dakota, especially centered around graduation parties, is a perennial problem.

• Kids want a last hurrah with friends. Some parents, sadly, think teen drinking is a rite of passage. After all, they did it when they were that age.
• Make no mistake about it, drinking under age 21 is illegal.
• But there's a bigger message that school administrators, counseling agencies and law enforcement leaders have promoted for years to parents and schools in the state, primarily to prevent students from dying in drinking and driving accidents: Parents Matter. That's the name of
