Sole Pine Ridge grocery store remains closed

• PINE RIDGE, S.D. (AP) -- The sole grocery store on the Pine Ridge Indian Res

ervation remained closed for the fourth consecutive day, forcing residents to either shop at convenience stores or leave the vast reservation to buy food.
• Oglala Sioux President John Yellow Bird Steele said Tuesday that he expected the store to reopen by the end of Tuesday with approval from the tribe's attorney general. The store was closed Friday after the tribe sought a temporary restraining order alleging that the Sioux Nation Shopping Center had been selling
