SD man sentenced for passing counterfeit money

• SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- A Sioux Falls man accused of passing counterfeit money has been sentenced to a year and a day in federal prison.
• Thirty-nine-year-old Christipher West earlier pleaded guilty to passing $180 in fake $10 and $20 bills at a Sioux Falls Walmart last summer.
• U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says West will be on supervised release for three years following his prison term.
