Madison, Flandreau devastated by weekend storms

• MADISON, S.D. (AP) -- Residents of Madison and Flandreau continue to clean up and make repairs after weekend storms that devastated the two eastern South Dakota communities.
• Madison, a city of about 6,500 people, saw more than six inches of rain and flash

flooding that damaged nearly100 homes and businesses, according to KELO-TV and the Argus Leader newspaper. Items such as carpet and mattresses are piling up on curbs outside homes.
• Kelly Stout says she screamed as she watched one of her basement walls collapse and water rush in like a waterfall at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Stout, who is pregnant with her third child and due on Friday, ran upstairs to her home's second floor to get her two
