• Police have served a search warrant for the students, who lived on campus, but they have not been arrested. Betzen said two or three students were involved.
• Investigators soon connected the students to a scheme in Florida in which suspects withdrew money from debit cards obtained illegally. The Internal Revenue Service is investigating that case, Betzen said.
• USD President James Abbott said the school is assisting in the investigation.
• "It disappoints me to think any of our students could be involved," he said in a statement. "If necessary, our students will be held accountable by not only the judicial system but the University as well."


Great Falls man claims $316K Wild Card jackpot
