SDSU officials hold meetings on future plans

• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- South Dakota State University officials are holding public meetings across the state to gather suggestions for setting priorities at the university for the next five years.
• The meetings will be held in Mitchell, Winner, Pierre, Lemmon, Sioux Falls, Watertown, Aberdeen, Rapid City and Brookings between May 11 and May 24.
• Topics covered in the meetings will include academic programs, research, sports and budget issues.
• SDSU President David Chicoine (SHEEK'-wihn) says the meetings will help iden

tify opportunities for teaching, research and outreach activities.
