Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures can be expected across the area today. By late this afternoon scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across the western Dakotas and move eastward during the evening and overnight hours. Another area of thunderstorms is expected across southeast South Dakota and into portions of Nebraska and Iowa for the late afternoon and evening as well.
